Not that there was much to Ida once she made landfall. Though, as weak as she was, the overnight winds managed to create a foot long crack in the windshield of John's car. Thanks to good ol' Florida insurance laws, it was replaced for free.. Oddly enough, when he called the insurance company, he learned that he was the first claim of the day (at 10:00 in the morning) for 'hurricane' damage.
