For the Record. . .

It is not easy completely avoiding writing about the fact that I have a human growing inside of my uterus.
I was four weeks when I found out (remember the weekend John and I went to Atlanta? You know how we went to the Georgia Aquarium that Saturday? Yeah, I found out that night that night). I had a couple of questionable symptoms, but then The Obvious happened (or didn't happen. . . ), and we headed to the nearest store (thanks to Target for existing!), picked up a home pregnancy test, did the Pregnancy Dance (not really) and it came back positive.
I then proceeded to take five more tests over the next week. You know, just to make sure.
Now I'm fifteen weeks (or three and a half months) along and due May 22, 2010.
The baby is uh, insanely active. I can't feel movement yet, but I'm kinda wondering what in the world it's going to feel like when I can!
It's been a fairly easy pregnancy-- I haven't been sick at all. I was crazy exhausted until about two or three weeks ago. Like, I'd wake up at 9:00, do a little cleaning, run to the store, and then take a three hour nap by 2:00 in the afternoon. But I've pretty much got my energy back.
We don't know what the sex is yet, but we'll find out January 4th!
Ummm. . . I think that's it!

I always wondered how people can keep such a big secret for so long! Congrats!
You are about the same length as my preceptor and her friend are. She is just now starting to feel it kick. Its kinda cool! Anyway, congrats!! I am so happy for you, and you best be bringing baby Woerner.
I know that I want to keep it a secret for a lil while whenever Chris and I have a baby, but man finding out about yours has honestly made me wonder if I'll ever be able to do that as well as you did! haha!! Congrats! We'll see y'all when we get home to Fl!
PS. i meant you should keep the sex of the baby surprise ... though it would be sooooooo funny if you could keep the entire pregnancy a surprise for 9 months lol!
yay! congrats, again!
